Spring 2010 registration is waiting list only except for U12 boys.
If you are called and register and then need to cancel your registration, refund requests must be made in
writing to the registrar (Linda Procter) at the address below. Requests postmarked prior to 3/1/10 will receive
a 100% refund. Requests postmarked prior to 3/16/10 will receive a 50% refund. Refund requests received
3/17/10 or later will not be honored. This is just for open registration of U12 boys.
Again for this fall is a tiered cost structure based upon volunteering (does not apply for spring-only unless you
are volunteering to coach). The registration fee is $60 per child and is for both the fall and spring sessions.
However, if you sign up for a volunteer role, you can deduct $10 per child. You must turn in a signed copy of
the volunteer sheet to receive this discount. (Download the volunteer sheet below.) As noted on the home
page, all 2 hour volunteer positions have been filled. Unfortunately the majority of our costs are fixed so if
you child only plays either fall or spring only, the fee remains $60.
There is a family discount available for 3 or more registrations. The first 2 registrations are full price ($50 or
$60, depending on volunteering). All remaining registrations for the same household are $30 each.
We accept cash and checks made out to Byron Center AYSO. We are not set up to accept credit card
payments.

- Attend registration events. These dates are posted on this site and listed in school bulletins.
- Sign into eAYSO and print the form from the site. If your child has played in previous seasons, the
data will be retained. Just ensure data is correct and print. Then mail form and check to the address
listed below. - Download the registration form (pdf) from here or pick one up at the Byron Township offices. Fill it
out and mail form and check to the address listed below. Don't worry about Region info and Player
ID number.

Age Guidelines for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010
Players must have be 4 years of age by August 31 2009 to be able to play. Due to liability, there are no
exceptions to this. The following guidelines show what bracket they will play in. The U stands for Under.
Division Born Between
U16 . . . . . . . . 8/1/93 - 7/31/95
U14 . . . . . . . . 8/1/95 - 7/31/97

Unfortunately due to a lawsuit, a new national rule this year - a child must play in his or her age
bracket. There is no playing "up" an age bracket (and as always, there is no playing down an age bracket).
