You will receive your roster, uniforms and equipment at the coaches meeting. This year we will be collecting the
required volunteer form right at the meeting. Please be prepared to show your drivers' license. If you are a first
time coach, you will also need your social security number. AYSO does a background check on all coaches.

Kids bored with summer? Want a jump on the soccer season? Byron Center AYSO will be hosting a week-long
national AYSO soccer camp for ages 5 -16. It will be held August 18 - 22 9:00-noon at Douglas Walker, with an
additional speciality camp for strikers and goalies (8-16yrs) on the 23rd. Cost is $99 for the week camp and $25
for the speciality camps. There is a $5 discount for siblings. To register online or for more details visit their site at

| When will we hear from the coach? |
We ask the coaches to contact their teams within 2 weeks of the coaches meeting. Some do this, others do not. If
it is getting near the end of August, please contact us and we can put you in touch with your coach. However,
please give them until late August before you contact us. All age groups except U5 do practice prior to games.
Once games begin, U6 only practices prior to their games on Saturday. U8 and older will have 1 weekly practice.
